DBEI Night Recap: Record breaking attendance!

With over 160 registered attendees, and the venue at capacity, last night’s DBEI Night really does show the AECO community’s thirst for knowledge in Singapore. It has been our most popular night on record and with presentations from the renowned Scott Beazley of Mitchell Brandtman and Dr. Alex Lee, CEO of Tian Building Engineering, it’s not hard to see why. For those of you that missed out, we had Scott teaching us the do’s and don’t of models for collaboration covering architecture, clash detection and how to deal with other consultants. We also had Dr. Lee showcasing the use of BIM in calculating ETTV on complex building facades – something particularly relevant to the Singapore market at the moment!

We’re grateful that these industry gurus were happy to spare their time for the local industry, and will soon be releasing the slides from these presentations as many of you have requested. We’d also like to extend a big thank you to our event sponsor, Autodesk, for allowing us to use their facilities to host the event.

If you enjoyed last night’s speakers and want more, or missed out and want to know what else we have on offer, make sure you have a look at the speaker list for this year’s BILT ASIA, being held at the Marina Bay Sands on 5-7 April, and register for the event!

We still have a few early bird tickets left for the event, but as many of you are aware these are limited, so you better get in quick if you want those final discounted tickets!

For those of you that missed out altogether – and this is the first you’re hearing of any of this – make sure you subscribe to our mailing list and you’ll get all the information you need.
