Singaporean Delight!

As you may have heard by now, RTC Asia 2017 is going back to Singapore. However this time, hosted at the one and only Marina Bay Sands. There are many reasons why we are making our way back to Singapore, and we’ll give you just 5 for now. Honorary mention of 6,600 flights weekly connecting 270 cities worldwide making it one of the most accessible countries!

  1. Discover Singapore!
Diversity, Singapore is the epitome of community. It is a diverse city that displays an array of cultures consisting of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Western in a harmonious co-existence. Furthermore, Singaporeans also celebrate the festivals associated with these cultures.
RTC prides itself in the community it has created over the years. Each year the delegate count increases and our community increases.
  2. Food glorious food!
Let’s be honest, we all love food. Given the variety of cultures present in Singapore it comes as no surprise the platter that is served. Whether you’re in the mood for some local cuisine, or Indian food or maybe even some Western cuisines, there is something to cater to everyone’s taste buds.

  3. Architectural Cravings Satisfied
Singapore brings a blend of traditional and contemporary architecture. Colonial buildings and Chinese shop houses juxtapose with cutting-edge skyscrapers to showcase Singapore’s mix of new and old. It has been suggested that recent prosperity coupled with an extremely dense urban situation has led to a wealth of incredible architecture from architects around the world.
Zaha Hadid, Daniel Libesking, Foster + Partners are just a few names that have buildings in Singapore.
  4. Shopping
There’s no way shopping is not making it to this list. It’s Singapore! Ladies (and gentlemen) get spending. Shopping in Asia is always great!
  5. Marina Bay Sands
Technically this should have been number 1, but there’s a reason for it to be number 5. All of the above can be done at your one stop shop the Marina Bay Sands. There’s nothing like taking a dip in the infinity pool, sipping a drink and breathing in the fresh air and enjoying a view of the Singapore skyline. The conference will of course be at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. But you can also enjoy the variety of restaurants available, the shops to spoil yourself or perhaps enjoy a stroll at the Garden Walk. There’s also the ArtScience Museum where you can take your family (especially the kids) along one evening.
